Treasurer of United Nations Youth Association (UNYA) (WA)
Ross’ UNYA involvement began with participation in the Hammarskjöld Trophy Competition, competing in the final in 2001 and 2002. He attended the Western Australian State Conference in 2001 and 2002, and was selected to attend the UNYA National Youth Conference for 2002, held in Brisbane. Since then, he has been actively involved in the organisation and was a member of the Organising Committee for the 2003 National Youth Conference in Perth. His greatest contribution to the conference was supplying the conference mascot, a rogue toy sandgroper called Dirtface. Ross is currently the Treasurer of UNYA (WA) and is a member of the facilitator team chaperoning the Western Australian delegation to the 2004 National Conference in Melbourne. Outside UNYA, Ross is currently studying Arts/Law at the University of Western Australia. He plays soccer competitively for the North Beach Soccer Club, and enjoys playing sport, going to the gym, and having a cold beer with friends.
